Default 16/18 and 16/19 Custom Wheel Setup's

I'm considering getting some new wheels but don't want to go higher than a 19" wheel. I'm also considering only getting a front wheel but wanted to see what others had done.

I'm liking the Monterey Elite Wheel.

Thanks.

I went with HogPro 18 inch 8-spokes front and rear. Love them and the ride is much improved. Go to their website and click on gallery and look at the Bagger section. They have tons of customers rides to look at all set up. here is mine.

Anyone else running a similar setup?

I don't see the point in the 18" rear and might keep the stocker and just replace the front.

I never actually looked at the numbers - but i've been told a 21" front 18" rear have a lower load capacity - not exactly sure the numbers

I have a photo of a bagger with an 18" front, and the guy said he then lowered the front fender down over the tire to make it more tight looking - and it gives the appearance of a 21" front.... it looks good

PM me your email address since i'm not sure how to get photos to post on here (if you want a copy of the photo sent to you)

I imagine more people have this setup.

I am not a fan of the large 18" rear since I don't see the purpose as all it does is raise the bike up and you can't see much of the wheel anyways. Makes more sense to me to have the stocker chromed to save money and spend the $$ on a nice front wheel.
