Talking Lowering an 09 roadking

Guys I am looking to lower my 09 roadking. I have the classic leather bags and the dealership says I cannot use the lowering blocks because of the contour of the leather bags, so they suggest the lowering shocks in the rear and a lowering kit for the front as well. Has anyone done this? Will I loose the comfort of the ride if I lower it as long as I stay with the air shocks? Thanks for the help!

This subject has been covered several times rcoleg do a search and see what u come up with. I haven't lowered my scoot but know plenty of people that have and 95% of them love it. I would go with the SG shocks front lowering kit up front. just my .02

I have a short inseam, so I lowered my '09 RKC with the HD Profile Low Front lowering kit and the Profile Low Touring Shocks in the Rear. I think it's pretty much the same suspension stuff that comes stock on an SG. I'm very happy with the result.

I have sat on 1 that was lowered and I felt that I was in much more control of the weight of the bike. I guess it lowers the center of gravity wich is great if you are not over 6' tall. Thanks for the input.
