I'll have to admit that I have been getting between 43 and 49 mpg. Low is varied driving conditions and high is a multi-day 1200 mile freeway trip. That said, mpg's have a lot of variables. I'm happy with the way mine is going.

Sometimes I can get 31 but usually hang around at 30 or so...I do however have an 18" wheel in the rear so the spedo may not be as acurate and also tend to ride like I stole it...my cruising speed is 80-85...

Not at all. A harley windshield will take a few seconds off your quarter mile time, at least 10 mph off your top end and at least a few mpg.

50 MPG !!!! ............. pretty damn good. I managed 45 MPG over 600 miles - never shifted out of 6th once and had the cruise set to 60 mph.

No big supprize here my Sportster gets 54 MPG, thats riding it easy with the desire to get good MPG. The Ultra however gets 40 MPG. Still beats the 16 MPG my truck gets.

Our '06 Ultra with Stage One will get 50+ mpg, but only if we drive at 55 mph. As soon as you start pushing wind, the miliege drops FAST. At 65, we get about 42. 50 MPG is possible, but only if you want to be bored.
