ok reread the issue i cant see on mine where your talking about...only damage i was gettin was from the docking points...hmmmmm

I get it.... I get it I checked last night and on the right saddle bag the mounting screw on the front is slightly scratching the leather on the edge of the lid.. It doesn't do it on the left side.. I tried shimming the front bracket out it does not seem to work.. It looks like the bags are formed differently.... The chrome caps do protect the lids but from a differnt problem
