Compared to the Rinehart true-duals, how does the 2-1 sound?? (if you know) Wondering if it was louder, deeper, etc... I'm sure it provides better low end power than the T/D's.......

Yea what he said[sm=icon_rock.gif]

I've been watching the boards here for a couple weeks. Rinehart vs T-Rex true duals; 2-1 vs true duals. All I know is that the stock pipes gotta go!!!

I'm into the performance gains of the 2-1, but not sure of the look. After listening to the feedback of the T-Rex sound (loudness) not to sure I want them, have always been one to be a tad different so, having heard the Rineharts (True Duals) and thinking they sound great. I'm interested to hear your feedback on the 2-1 sound.

Hello!

I had Rinehart True Duals on a 05 RK. The only problem was a slight chirp sound in the exhaust. The sound was very nice and acceptable.

The 2-1 has a great low rumble sound with no resonation. The throttle response seems alot better even though I have not ridden the bike yet. Waiting on the Terminal Velocity Tuner before I rip! The 2-1 has a very unique tuned sound! The other thing that contributes to the sound is the Bell Tip and how long the collector is on the FLHXI. The sound is exhaled away from the bike and the rider. Fit, Chrome Finish, and Install is A-1

Tuned Sound: Ever hear a Flowmaster Muffler on a High Horsepower Car? You hear nothing but the true mechanics of the engine and not the typical cheap muffled sound. This is my best description thus far on the BUB/Rinehart 2-1!

Hope this Helps!!!

I just finished installing mine tonight! They sound great! It sounds a lot like a big block at idle and down right thunderous at the twist of a wrist. They sound like true duals only much much louder when accelerating. I took her for a spin and she ran strong as hell. No pops at all and the heating of the family jewels has stopped! What a diffrence over the SE PRO II. I am getting her on a dyno on the 25th. I will have some number then... These badboys get a big thumbs up!

Here she is. Sorry about the crappy picure (bad lighting in the garage)...

Are you guys taking your transmisison mount off of your bike whn you mount different exhaust? Like on a Trex true dual i see no reason to leave it. Are you leaving it?
