RE: 06 Street Glide w/ Rinehart 2-1
Hello!
The exhaust install is straight forward! You need some patience to keep from scratching the pipe and your bike.
Tools you will need!
1. Pair of flat end snap ring pliers to remove the the stock exhaust retainer clips and also to install. Be careful not to bend!
2. Also I use a 1/2" 3/8 drive swivel end socket to remove the exhaust flange bolts and to reinstall. Be careful when you reinstall due to the heat shield diameter.
3. Make sure to remove the right floorboard and both brackets that go to the frame so the new pipe will easily go below the cam cover.
Hope this Helps!

PTS, I just ordered this exhaust for a 2006 RK Custom. I am having second thoughts because I am not sure what the left side of my motorcycle will look like without a pipe! Can you post a pic of your Street Glide on the left side to see how it looks? Thank you!
By the way, the pic you posted with the 2:1 rinehart does look hot!

Hello!
I had Rinehart True Duals on a 05 RK. The only problem was a slight chirp sound in the exhaust. The sound was very nice and acceptable.
The 2-1 has a great low rumble sound with no resonation. The throttle response seems alot better even though I have not ridden the bike yet. Waiting on the Terminal Velocity Tuner before I rip! The 2-1 has a very unique tuned sound! The other thing that contributes to the sound is the Bell Tip and how long the collector is on the FLHXI. The sound is exhaled away from the bike and the rider. Fit, Chrome Finish, and Install is A-1
Tuned Sound: Ever hear a Flowmaster Muffler on a High Horsepower Car? You hear nothing but the true mechanics of the engine and not the typical cheap muffled sound. This is my best description thus far on the BUB/Rinehart 2-1!
Hope this Helps!!!
