Solo Seat: How to cover plastic fender washers?
#11
I just cut them down to the shape of the chrome bracket that covers them. Basically trace the chrome shape onto the white washer with a fine line Sharpie, then remove one at a time and cut off the extra. Carefully hold the bolt bracket and slide it back on. This way you have the look of no washers, but they are still there protecting your fender finish. I could shoot a pic tonight if this does not make sense.

I just took them off. I have a small block of wood that I put under the fender, wedged between the tire and inside of the fender to hold the screws in when I take the seat off. The screws are hooked to a metal strap under the fender so you can just wedge that and they stay in place. And yes it is a real PITA if you let them fall through.
