Default Is a 6 inch windscreen tall enough

Hi

I am 5" 8 (178cm) and I need to replace the stock windscreen because of the buffeting. Has anyone on my hight replaced it with a 6 inch. Wondering if that is enough for a guy on my higth? THX

I'm 5'8" too. I went to a six inch and then an eight inch. The eight works great, although I like the look of the short one better.

It's really all gonna depend on your riding posture...the depth of your seat...your handlebar positions. Altho I do agree the 8" will probably be better you'd be surprised at the taller guys with short wondshield that don't have an issue due to riding posture and deep cut seats.

I should have mentioned that I use stock handlebars and a HD solo Brawler seat.

i have the clearview 6.5". i look over it. i like it because it still gives some breeze rather than a 8" which mostly you will look through it.
im 5.10. and yes , i agree above - posture has alot to do with what size u need. My sign photo is still from first day i got bike last year. will update photo as soon as we get a sunny day here.

I guess I should stay out of this as I just put a 3.5" Klock Works on and love it and I am 5'10". I like the wind though.
