Default Need help with bars on a 09 FLHX

Sorry guys but I have read a butt load of posts and can't get the info I need. My problem is that the angle of the stock bars hurts my wrists after a while. I could use a little taller bar or a little more pull back but regardless none of the measurements really address the issue of the angle of pull back. I need a set of bars that are more like a drag bar on the ends (sorry thats the only way I know to describe it) I'm not into the 10" and 12" ape bars, have checked them out, so can anyone suggest a bar that addresses this problem? Thanks for any help.

Khromewerks Sweepers 300515's would do what you're looking for at a reasonable price. I have them on my 08 and love them.

Wild1's 575's sound like a good bar for you as well.

I've installed a few sets for people, and I actually just tonight got done installing them on my own bike. 2" more rise, a little wider grip, and a better wrist angle.

I've been looking at the Klock Werks Ergo bars. The Back bars seem to do what I want, and they claim you can use the existing cables, which will save me about $300 on an ABS bike.

They also change the wrist position, which may be what you're looking for. I haven't pulled the trigger on ordering them yet, but may do so this week.

If I had to do it all over again (and I still might) I would have went with the Ergo Up bars. Instead I installed HD Tallboy's. I like my hands further up and in front of me opposed to the stock bars. I think I would have liked the position of my wrists with the ergo bars better then the Tallboys but they are still much better then stock.............Rich
