anyone on here using the sampson straight drag pipes on there tour bike..if so how does it sound/run?

 

I have the Bassani true dual headers with the power curve. Took off the Bassani megaphones and put on Samson drag fishtails because I love the look and the sound. Yes, they are loud, lots of crackle on decel and growl when you're into the throttle. You are definitely going to lose a few ponies though, especially if that's your bike with the Reinhart pipes.

 

freind of mine had them really loud and ran like crapp, put in the quiet baffles still loud deeper pitch and ran good.

 

ok, 1 says runs good and 1 says runs like crap...yes my bike had the reinharts, but i had since installed vance and hines true duals and now today i just installed the samsons. they are loud as ****....i didnt take it out yet because its been pouring rain here. when i rev it up, it sounds a little messy? like not a smooth sound, but i didnt put the power commander or air cleaner on yet...im waiting for it.
