Down here in Florida duribg the winter, the lows will get into 25-35'. I enjoy riding in the cold but the wife hates it. It is all about being prepared for the conditions.
Riding in 98' sun with 100% humidity can be a challenge as well. Always a near by watering hole stocked with ice cold Coronas.
What I feel is a problem are the 1-3" downpours during the summer that take place every afternoon around 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon. But as with both hot and cold weather, be prepared and ride on.
As for your bro... a newborn in the house gets him a few extra get out f jail free cards.
There were times when I would have left the house in during a blizzard on a VESPA just to get away for a while.

Everybody just loves to screw with people, all in fun I did have to ride to work in the rain again today, truck has two flats and I have one spare. Maybe the rain will wash some bugs off
