Hey guys. Want to put a hard tour pak on my RKC. I am leaning towards the King Tour Pak and was wondering if you can get the Road Glide Ultra version (with the lights) as opposed to the King tour pak. I suppose you could get the King tour pak and add some lighing in the back (spoiler kit, or regular lights, or luggage rack with light) anyway what do you guys think?

 

Go for it...Not sure if you can get what you're looking for unless you buy it used. I went with the king tour, I love it for the additional storage, the wife loves it for the comfort and storage. I will probably get the light bar at a later date but for now we both like it! Hardware and all it cost me around $1200.

 

Buy the king with speakers you can buy a junker on ebay for the lights.........The RKC in the picture looks like the one I traded in but it was 03.

 

Have King Tour Pac on mine in sig pix. Has all the lights and some!

 

The one beauty of the RK is the versatility, once you add that king tour pack youre half way to geezer-ville I was looking more toward the removeable pack. sorry if I made your decision any harder
Ebay whenever you can! and if you are handy I would opt for the lights afterwards like Road Rangere here. More pride when you make it yourself!

 

You can still maintain the versatility of the King even with the King Tour Pak as it is of the quick detach hardware type.

understand that the 'king' tour pak is not specific to the road king. it just refers to the size. you can mount whichever tourpack is to your liking back there. especially if you use the detachable mounting hardware. course if you get one for the a different model, you might have an antenna mount to deal with, but hey, we can fix anything
