Default Jim's 131" In '09 Street Glide

Guys,
My local Indy dyno tuned a 131" a couple days ago.
I wish I had a copy of the dyno to show you guys.

The AFR was dead *****..straight across the RPM range.

Numbers were...........

111 HP
117 TQ

Pretty weak for a $10k motor, if you ask me.
I think the main reason it ran like a slug...the pipe.

Guy was running the stock exhaust system with those goofy Gatlin Gun cans.

Anyway, thought some of you guys might be interested in the numbers.

Thanks heaps for posting that. Very interesting. I would be really dissapointed with that. I looked at the 131 for my bike but it was even more expensive than the 124 and it had chain driven cams . Hopefully he finds the extra bucks for a better set of headers - should be the easiest 25hp in history..

I ran up against a guy recently in a dyno shoot out at our local HD dealer. He had a 131" Ultima with get this....... $28,000 invested in just the motor and only pulled a 133 HP/143 TQ. Talk about a slug.

That is pretty bad for that kind of money.

My 416CI LS3 Stroker cost that much or the GTO.

There are some serious issues with that setup, most 131" are in the 140/145 range,or so I have heard. If this guy dails that thing in he will have an arm stretcher.

111/117 sound low. Guy around here did the 120, $11,000 total. Injected custom map, duels, 128/132. Really does sound like that 131 need some more dialing in. Is he running the carb or a fuel injection system?

I agree that something definitely isn't right.
