Just got my Zumo 660. Excellent product. Loving it. Haven't taken it on the road yet but will get a chance this weekend.

Is there a model # or other identifier on that RAM mount? I already have a 660 I use in the car and just need the mount. I have an '09 EG Police with a fairing so I think it will be the same mount as yours. Thanks

If you have a Zumo 660, it came with the RAM mount. If you have a Nuvi 660, that's a different beast. I don't know what options are available for it as far as bike mounting goes. And it's not waterproof, etc.

If you have a Zumo 660 and for some reason didn't get the motorcycle kit with it, bought it used, etc., you can order the mount from Garmin. Just go the their site, find the 660, click the accessories, link and so on.

I like the new form factor. I had a Zumo 550 on my old bike, but sold it. I wasn't a fan of the chunky form factor. I do find it hard to use a GPS on a bike. Just never really warmed up to looking down and reading a screen while riding. Good when you're stopped, though. I keep my iPod in the windshield bag and have days worth of music and it seems to run forever without a charge, so only one wire.

I've got the Garmin Street Pilot C580. Dirt cheap (NIB $140) on ebay with 2009 maps. BlueTooth, Real Time Traffic/Weather. Ciggie lighter adaptor plugs right into the Ultra's receptacle. Will not sync to my Scala Q2, but not a big deal. RAM mount holds it on the handlebar, and I keep a ZipLock bag handy in case the weather goes south while riding

good place to order from is www.tvnav.com
I have bought multiple gps's from them and so have my friends and co-workers....price is pretty good. I think its only a few bucks more then the ama discount...

I still like my 550..A couple of Buds have the 660..One hates it the other loves it... Complains about freezing up, and making sure the routes will transpose properly from the PC to the Unit (it was showing as the crow flies, due to not having the software synched up with the unit PITA but fixable)

Ordered one thru the AMA connection. Garmin discount on this unit is 16%. Website said it ships within 1 or 2 weeks. I ordered last Friday - no word yet on shipping. I have a 550 and will put it up for sale once I receive the 660.

Just checked the status of my 660, it should arrive at my house tomorrow. Purchased it off eBay. Can't wait to try it out.

Default Handle bar mount

Does the handle bar mount (HD part 92378-09) fit an Ultra Classic?
It doesn't list the FLHCTUI in the list, but does show it as the
"touring" handle mount?
Also, if mounted to handlebar where does this thing get power from?
Cig lighter?

Thanks,
Joe
