Default Help need front fender advice

Hey All:

OK, I have a custom 17" front wheel on my 09 EGS. I want a fender that is about the same total length of the stock fender, but I am looking for the lower fender line to follow the rim profile. I'd also like the fender to be close to the tire (figure about 1/2 inch off the rubber). Most fenders i see for sale are for a 16/18 or a 21..............

Anyone know of a fender that would fit my thoughts?

Thanks!

Dawg:

Thanks. It's a great Idea, and some of those fenders look great. but. My challenge is the Harley fender does not have a radius that is constant, followign the profile of the rim. The Harley fenders are pretty much a 120 degree arc and it does not follow the rim. In an ideal world, I am looking for a fender that follows the rim, so you can jsut see the edge of the rim all the way around

Maybe something like this

I am using the F100 18 inch fender. The photo does not show how close to the tire it is but there is only 1/4 inch clearance

This is on a 17 inch wheel
