I just bought a 2007 Ultra and it has the Rinehart 2in1 exhaust. The pipe gets so hot that when I leave a traffic light my jeans burn my leg when they touch my leg. The heat is coming from the rear portion of the engine. A mechanic told me that they sell a device for the 07 and 08 to make it run cooler, I havent had it installed yet. Any suggestions. Thanks

 

You can install and additional heat shield over the first one to reduce the heat. I did it and it worked
