I think I read somewhere on the forum that Zanotti offer's FREE shipping, any truth to this? I put together an order for $600.00+ and it showed $30.00+ for shipping.

Maybe I have them mixed up with another online part provider?

 

LSHD1 is offering free on orders over $500. Never seen free at Zanotti's,

I put together a $1300.00 order and did not get free shipping from Zanotti's , I think the shipping was $45.00 but that included two large boxes one with a vivid black tour pak. I had ordered it all on April 9th and received it all on April 28th. thats 19 calender days even for a painted part, granted its black so its a commonly stocked HD part but I did not think that was too bad. There live support works well also, just make sure you buy what you want because you will pay return shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee if returned, but otherwise a good experience. Also I had one issue with a part that was not built correctly by HD and I have to pay shipping to return it to Zanotti's, but it still saved my from buying locally and they have to order everything anyways. I compared all parts with Chigago HD and lshd1 and the prices still worked out better and Zanotti's as a whole. It just depends on what you buy. Hell my local dealer bitches about a 10% discount even being a national and local HOG member so if I have to wait I may as well sit at home and order it.

 

Zanottis is very well known for charging crazy high shipping amounts...........very unlikely they are offering free shipping.

Chicago HD is cool. I had a 20 inch diamond back brake cable all winter long, than realized I needed 22 inch. Called them, they said no problem, even though it was my mistake. I returned it, they sent me the right one and I never paid a dime.

 

I just ordered 2100 in parts from Zanotti...paid $1550 and shipping was 55...not at al unreasonable and about 25% off MSRP

 

No free shipping but be sure to compare their shipping charges to other online dealers.

 

Lake Shore Harley is the one with free shipping over $500! The only change to that is heavier than normal or odd shaped pieces.

Just was charged $13 shipping for a $27 part. Price came to exactly the HD msrp cost of the part. However, they had it in stock, where as my looser local dealer would have to special order it, and gosh knows how long it would take to come in. I took it and ran.
