I'm with LegendChrome, the Plasma rods are what I would do.

On my SG I use the HD module that enables the rear turn signals to be running lights, and when the brake is applied they act as brake lights (and are still turn signals). Pretty good looking and cost effective and I had red lenses to use from a previous bike I had.

the running light turn signal module is fantastic. and cheap. it's about fifty bux, comes with two red rear lenses for your turn signals, and adds a whole lot of more light to the rear of your bike, and a great safety feature. there is a harley module that plugs in under your seat, to the only plug it'll fit into, and then swap out your amber lenses for the supplied red ones, and it's great. best mod you can do if you wanna be seen at nite.

that being said back in may, i must add that today, just after thanksgiving in 09 i installed the bal 1R on my 08 streetglide. now that i've taken an hour since i was out in the shop swapping out the stock taillight for the bal 1R, i can see well enough to type this comment. "YEOW CORNDOGGIES, THAT IS ONE BRIGHT SUNNOBAGUN" awesome, and i'll get out for a ride tomorrow, that is if i can find a friend nearby who wants to go riding, i wanna swap bikes with him so i can see what my new taillight looks like. so far, it absolutely rocks. now if i can figure out how to work the magnet thingie. guess it's time to look for the destruction, a.k.a. , instruction paperwork.

Don't know for sure if these are what he is talking about, but check out http://www.adjureinc.com/ Go to the taillight section. They have plug and play tailights and turn signals....also module that allows blinkers to be run/brake/turn modified. All for a good price.
