error? one post about holding water and you naturally assume hd made an error? dude, with as much faith as you have in the moco, you should sell that bike quick.

fwiw, on my 07, the swingarm is hollow as well, and on my 02 sporty, guess what? hollow swingarm. all capable of 'holding water' but for the little drain hole underneath..... check yours to see if its plugged as scorpion suggested

Yes my 09 SG does the same thing either if I ride it in the rain or give it a bath when I park it in the garage I come out and the is that wonderful rust color all over the belt guard and sometime even on the floor. I have not taken the time to look into it any further. Let us know if you find something out.

they should have dipped the swing arms in ELPO so the inside would not rust.

I just counted 4 other people on this forum that are encountering the same thing besides my Brother and I.

I have the same problem with the 09 Ultra. It has been raining here in Mass. and I have a puddle under swingarm.

I've seen occassional water leaks on the left side as I assumed it was coming off from the pipe and left exhaust due to water consendation. Now, I'm having this second thought if it's leaking and coming off the swingarm. :dunno:
