Question Monster Ovals & 2" bag extensions ???

On my '07 Ultra rebuild , i'm 92% decided on the V & H Monster Ovals , but wanted to install 2" bag extensions & extended rear fender. Is this even possible with the huge mufflers ?

Anybody try this yet ?? Are most extensions easy to trim ?

A pic would be awsome .

Thanks

You should be able to use a dremel sanding bit on the extension to grind it down to fit. Make sure you chamfer the edges so not to leave a sharp edge on the bag extension (crack to easy).

Mine are 4" extensions and I used 1/2 inch chrome spacer washers and eliminated the bag hitting the muffler.

I am using "Bad Dad" 2" Extensions on my bike, I have them ready for paint and my bike is down to the frame/engine. That said. I can't show you the 2" extended bags ON the bike but I will send you some photos of the bags off the bike. PM me your e-mail address. The Bad Dad 2" extensions are actually 2.5" +- rather than 2". Don't know why, they told me this before I bought. Really good stuff to work with. Gary

I bet if Bad Dad came out with actual bags that were 2in longer then stock bags (not just extensions) they would have a hit. A little more space and just a little different look.
