Default Filler between seat and tourpack

I have the George Anderson Tour pack extender on my 2009 street glide. I got my wife on the bike for the first time tonight. First of all, it is a LOT more stable than my 2007 EG classic was. We LOVE the extra room with the tour pack extender. However, because of the extra room, my wife commented that it would be nice if the seat went back further. There are like 3 or 4 inches behind the back of the seat and the removeable tour pack bracket - I see what she means. I was thinking of getting some memory foam, cutting it to the correct shape to fit in the space, then having it covered with leather. Well, then I thought maybe someone already makes something- so that is my question - has anyone else encountered this and is there a good solution - pictures would be fantastic.

Thanks
Ed

Are you still running the stock Street Glide seat with her on it?
It really isn't made for two up riding.

Solution is a Corbin Dual Tourer. I've got George Anderson's extension, and my wife couldn't be happier. She says this is the best addition I've ever made to the bike. You can find some pretty good deals on slightly used Corbins on EBay

ok, I should have mentioned- I have a Road GLIDE seat -with the wide double decker modification on the back. The problem is from the mounting bolt back - so this is not "buy another seat". I want to know if someone makes a filler piece.

Some of the seats go further back than the bolt in the rear. I have a Corbin's Young Guns which is not for 2 up but the fast back part of the seat goes 3" - 4" past the hole in the fender where normal seats mount. The Corbin mounts differently it still has the tongh that goes in by the tank but there is another part that bolts to the front end of the fender that sticks straight up and the seat locks on there. Not sure if theer 2 up seats mount the same way. Check out Corbins web site and it will show how they mount.

I have seen a few seats that Allen at Mean City Cycles does where he extended the seat. You might give him a call and see what he can do for you. He is a sponser here on the board www.meancitycycles.com <-- I did not check it, but I think that is his web site addy.

Does your wife's butt hang off the back of the seat or are you just wanting to fill the gap? a small "Roll bag" will fit there and give some added room for tools and such.
