Default Tourpak wall organizer issue on '09 UC

My wife wanted an organizer for the tourpak so we bought the wall organizer, p/n 54014-05. I went to install it this past weekend and it does not fit. The organizers hard plastic back has 2 cut outs for the ribs in the tourpak molded liner, but they are not in the right place. If the cut out is placed over one rib, the bottom sits up on the second rib and it then sticks up high enough that it hits the lid. Has any one else had this problem? Is there a different p/n for the '09 tourpak?

Thanks

According to the Parts & Accessories book it should fit all but the chopped tour packs.

Mine was the same way. I just trimmed the slots wider on both so they would fit over the ribs. Works great. I also did not use all that velcro in the box. The wall organizer will stick to the tour pak liner without it. I have mine loaded with stuff and it stays in place just fine.

Hope this helps.

There's 2 different sets of instructions one for tour pak molded liner and one without molded liner. I used the instructions for without molded liner and the hinged strips were not used. Didn't have any issues installing mine. Top edge of organizer is about 1/8" below the edge ot the Tour Pak base if that helps.

Same thing here. The velcro tabs are not being used because it adheres to the fabric on the liner it'self. I did let the wall liner sit in the sun for an hour before I installed it. This made the plastic more pliable and contoured the tour pak better.
Mine is loaded with all sorts of stuff and have never had a problem. One of the best additions to bike so for regarding cargo and storage.

No problems in my '09 Ultra. Take your time to play and fit before the real set up. Had used the velcros wherever it's needed. Fits in like a glove. Extremely happy to have lots of storage everywhere.

Yes. Obviously it has it's limitations but mine works very well. I like that it mounts on the sides allowing ample space for storage in the middle of the tour pack
