Default Grips for '08/'09 Touring Bikes

Buddy is thinking about buying his first HD, a Road King.

He was looking through my '09 Parts & Accessory catalog and found only a couple grips that fit '08 & '09 Touring models. I'd guess that's because of the TBW.

Told him I'd post the quetion here, so any of you folks find decent grips for your newer baggers?

Thanks,

Sammi

I installed a set of Diamond Black grips on my '08 early this riding season and I'm very happy with them. I think they look great and their diamond cut surface provides a lot of grip. One caveat. I always wear gloves while riding, so I don't know how comfortable these mostly metal grips would be without them.

HD heated grips for me on my 08 Ultra TBW. Some guys have had issues with them burning out but mine (knock wood) have been fine.

By diamond grips do you mean the knurled one's. If so I had a set on my last bike ('06 Herritage) on bare hands they are a bit rough on long rides, also because they are all metal they made my hands colder in fall and early spring rides
