Anybody have dyno numbers for the Screamin Eagle 103 Stage II kit with the 255 cams? I found it on e-bay for $680 new and it is local through the Woodlands, TX Harley Davidson. So I could buy it on e-bay and go pick it up for $680. Worth it?

 

got it on my 09 RG -- I think you can cancel the the warranty and get a portion of your cash back; your warranty will still be good if you install the HQs 107--it will not cover any of HQs parts--if you were closer to ATL there are two HD shops that install HQs motors and provide full warranties

 

I love when I see every one talk about bigger motors more power, But you see a few people talk about gearing!!!!!

It's like building a 502 inch motor making 600hp plus..... and running it with a 273 rear end!!!!!!!! What good is that motor with out proper gearing to match.

Some people around wonder why they get there a### handed to them in a race but my bike has all this hp/tq blah blah........

What I am trying to say look at both avenues... When building a bike with a lot of power you want things to compromis each other....... From motor/gearing!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Not quite sure of the #'s I am at currently but I did change my gearing to a 24t compensator and left the basket alone I think I think it come in at 327 and I love it with my current build. On line waiting for a proper tune.....

 

I have that kit and have a D&D fatcat....86hp 101 tq sae

However, if I were you...with an '07 bike...go get yourself a Pro-Pipe HS and you'll find the low end you've been looking for. Try that before you go into the expense of a build if you're just looking for grunt. Those pipes will bring it to life.

 

I know what the D&D Fat Cat can do, awesome power, I just don't like the way it looks or sounds (like a muscle car). I think the V&H pro pipe is hidious. I love my current exhaust setup especially with the Thunder Monster Baffles, I wouldn't change it for anything. The power is good. Don't get me wrong my bike is quick and is no way slow. I just want more. I just want to balance it out with with upgraded cames and a big bore kit.
