Want more HP and TQ any ideas

From experience, if you leave it at 96, install Andrews 37H cams and you will get to your wanted Torque. If you go to 103 install Andrews 54H cams and you'll get to 110 TQ. No problem. I did the 37H's and was very happy with the increase in power. Then, because I like to tinker, I put the 103 kit and the 54H cams and was even happier. But the 37H's make a big enough difference that you will be very surprised and impressed. Cams are by far the best improvement you can make, almost unbelievable. Also, if you do the 103 you should put compression releases in the heads as it will start harder when hot.Hope that helps, have fun.

As others have stated, there is no end to spending when you are chasing ponies. I started out with the A/N big sucker. Then I got the D&D fatcat. Then the HQ500 cams. That was a real nice addition, but still not enough. So I got the HQ 107 kit with their 575 cams. I'm done for now, mostly because I don't have any money left to spend!
I have been Dyno'd by Dave at JD'sCycleworks for an economic non-pinging ride and I still have 105 in TQ and HP.
The 500 cams put a big smile on my face but there is no way I would have been able to keep up with the bigger bore guys.

If I were you, I would keep saving until I could swing a big bore package from one of the companies listed earlier in this thread.
If you just can't stand getting left in the dust by your Dyna and V-Rod buddies, you could do a 30 tooth comp sprocket (also mentioned earlier). It will help your out of the hole pull, but will raise your RPM's across the board. You're still not going to beat those guys off the line. In fact, it's going to take quite a bit to get a bagger to beat a V-Rod off the line IMO.
I'm also a happy Head-Quarters customer. I went with their 103ST kit and ended up with 112hp and 122tq. My dyno chart is in the Dyno for Baggers thread on page 113 I think.
Do it right, do it once is my new motto!

many upgrade questions can be answered here. they do have a 100/100 simple build that features stock compression and reliability. also a few comparisons between screamin eagle stuff as opposed to indy shops which they say usually get better numbers.

My experience with TC engines is that you can up the displacement, change the cams, etc. but until you do some head work you are going to be limited to what you will get (numbers wise). Like several guys & gals have said you might as well do it once, most head work is going to be $800-1000, Its easy to put $3500 + in a serious build, and to get anywhere around 100/100 HP-Tq. you might spend even more. Its one area thats hard to do piece-mill. Just my take.

I got 90HP from my bike using just an air cleaner pipe and a HQ500 cam in the 96" engine.
You need to do a bunch of reading in the archives on this sight there are gobs of stories about home brewed biulds that didn't work out so well.
If you want proven performance then buy a proven kit from HQ, GMA, Zippers or any of many other professional kit builders.
Then have your machanic dude install it.

Why dont you leave the motor alone and gear it.Call EVO Industries and order yourself the 30T compensator sprocket. You'll get all the lowend you'll want. It's makes the bike feel like a whole different bike. All these guys build there motors thinking bigger is better People very rarely ever talk about just changing the gearing.Just my 2 cents.

Here's a site with a boat load of dyno runs for different builds. This might help you make some decisions.
