Angry What's Up With E-mail Notification?

When I joined HDF a few years back, I could never get the e-mail notification to work, si I gave up. Then when the NEW & IMPROVED HDF came along, I tried again with the same results. Then someone came up with a convoluted way of getting the notices. It was too much for me, so I just tried something simple. I changed my e-mail address and no chit, that was it. It worked. That was about 2 months ago. Now it has stopped working. Anyone else experience this? What a royal PITA.

I have NOT been able to get it to work either. Would be nice. I lost out on a purchase, because I forgot to check my PM's. Shaun

Is it possible the webmail system your using is junking the e-mails sent from hdforums? If your not using something like gmail or msn, you might try setting your preferences to use one of these mail tools instead.

I have an MSN account too, and I just gave up on it... It's a pain.

Same here. I have to remind myself to check when I log in.
PMs are not being passed on to my email.

I've been using Gmail with no problems. I use Thunderbird to pull my messages down from Gmail to my Laptop.
