HELP ME! Took the wife on a ride yesterday

RE: HELP ME! Took the wife on a ride yesterday
I have found that the wife that rides her own or as a passenger is less apt to balk at new parts. What sane woman doesn't like bling. Plus when she sees some shiny new chrome on someone elses bike, she's like "why don't you have something like that on yours?" It's great when you can accessorize and she's helping. I always tried to be sensible on parts cost....Syn gets her 2003 Lowrider and the first thing she added was all Ness billet grips, grip wing, pegs, shift peg and couple other parts to the tune of several hundred dollars. Life is good

Same thing happened hear, I pretty much forced my wife to get on the back of my bike a few years ago, and I tell you what, I didnt know she could hold on that tight, I litterally had trouble breathing she was so affraid, but pretty soon she relaxed, and the next thing I know we were at the dealer buying her a bike.

I want my wife to get her own bike, I think I would like her to start off with a 833 sportster, that way she can get her teeth cut on that, then she can move up and we can pass on the sportster to Jr.

Well it happened to me today, my wife finally wanted to go on a ride. She enjoyed it and now is ready to go again and again. I afraid she my even want to get her own bike. When I got my bike, my wife insisted that I get the back rest on it when I brought it home, just encase she decided to ride with me. Now, she is into Bling-Blinging it up.

Well I took the wife on a ride yesterday and she love the feeling of riding the bike. Now I'm doomed she wants a back rest. So my question is what Parts do I need and how much is it going to run me to get the quick detachable back rest set-up on my bike? Now she want to ride everyday we even rode in this morning. I'm in trouble now.

I just installed a backrest on my RG for my wife.I went with the large oval PN/52886-98B and the low detachable bar PN/52933-97B.
My wife said it was having a pillow behind her and plenty of support when leaning side to side.Price was about $250.
Of corse you will need a docking kit as well.
I think these are well engineered parts that will except luggage racks that will bolt on to the sissy bar and will detach when the bar/backrest is removed.
