Unhappy Mufflers....Something a Bit Quieter

Well...I installed a Stage 1 air filter and V&H True Duals with Classic Slip-Ons over the winter. I like the performance and sound...but the 'significant other' has made a few comments about the increased noise. Any suggestions on mufflers that are a bit quieter?

There are a lot of posts on this topic. I couldn't be more satisfied with my SE Touring Mufflers. Noticeably throatier than the stock mufflers w/o being too loud. 50 state legal too.

The true duals definitely increase the sound no matter what mufflers you put on. The SE are probably quieter that than V&H though.

+3 SE Touring Slip Ons. Got about 7,000 miles on mine, and they have taken on a deeper tone than they originally had, but are still only a little louder than stock. My wife, who goes on long rides with me on a regular basis, approves of the sound as well.

Check if they make a quiet baffle for your mufflers. I installed v&h bigshot true duals that were too loud, and the quiet baffles made them tolerable.
