Suggest some of you guys come to Lake City , FL.. Guy will run a Dyno for $35.00 look evalauate and then decide if want to spend more.... And believe me he's good for 200.00 installed my PCIII and gained a good 10-12% HP and Torque with his tuning

I've read that you should have it dyno'd with a rear tire that you're planning on replacing, as the dyno drums & rpm's are tough on the tires.

I can't believe that the Dealers can talk somebody into a SERT for a stage 1.

On mine the only (real) options were a PCIII or SERT with the stage-1, any HD canned downloads will still leave your bike running too lean and hot. I went with the sert because I didn't want another piece of hardware hanging on the bike. My shop did a before and after dyno run and ended up with about 16% increase in hp and tq. Mileage went down some, but the bike runs way better and cooler. I heard many say that if you do anything more than just change mufflers a fuel management system is pretty much a "must have"....but then my dyno tune was only about $200.

+1 on that I don't even pay $300 for a dyno.
