Also,by reversing the tread pattern with not direct water from the center to the outside of the tread pattern. This tire needs to be recalled and Dunlop needs to be sued.I wish more Harley riders would come forward and speak up if they feel that this defective tire caused there accident.
Dunlop knows about the cupping issues and now they are trying to blame Harley. They are just trying to avoid the lawsuits that the Dunlop d407f caused.Thats why they are acting stupid about the problem. Now the D408F tires are cupping while turning backwards.Dunlop did say that all they did to the D407f is reverse the treads.I cant believe that they would risk all of us riders lives on their defective tire.

so the moco is sending my dealer a new 408 to replace the 407. Ps: A brand new 09 ug on the floor of the dealership was taken out 4 a ride.. Same coast down wobble (from 30 to 22 mph) . Dealer could not fix the wobble...!!! Someone dropped the ball on the 407's !
yes they did and now Dunlop is ignoring the issue. These D407F tires cause me to wreck my Night Train. The bike had less than 5k miles on it and the front tires were badly cupped.I panick stopped and could not get the traction that I needed to stop in time. Now Dunlop acts like the tire were Harley idea and refuse to recall them.I hope more people get in the class action lawsuit gainst Dunlop over this defective tires. Before more of us get hurt.

I have had my 407 changed to the 408 in the front. But here is my question....I just had my front replaced 5/3/12 with a D408F I had 23663 miles on my bike. Mike says my tread is at a 4 dealership says a 6 and I have almost 30000 on her right now. (I actually have the bike into the dealership getting back tire replaced). What does cupping look like so I know for myself and about how many miles should I expect to get on these tires?
