Default Relpy on your experience please

Northwoodz, Bruce; how is everything going on your new shocks? We have not heard from you for a while on this.

Bruce owns a custom bike building establishment in the UP of Mish. He has been around since 1994 that I know about but not a 100% fact. He also runs a store on e-Bay. He has built many show winners and I hope I am not alone in asking him his opinion.

He is a more experienced rider in a gauge of time spent in the saddle. With his experience in riding many different bikes and using different suspension on his bike, I think he would be qualified in an actual evaluation.

It's like there's no cushion at all. Feels like 2 pieces of bare metal slamming together.

Appreciate the Input ... Thanks...

Ohlins and Penske are a step up above everything else. I had Ohlins on my 98 Ninja ZX9R (oh to be young and single with no real bills again) and it was the best money I spent on that bike.

That said I had Progressives on my VRod, and they were a world of difference for the better. I'll probably get them again on my FLHX when I can afford them.

13 inch Ohlins from Howard. Had Racetech shocks first and they were not good. The Ohlins are awesome. Length is only important if you want your bike to handle well. There is no way around that. 13's make it taller. I'm 31 inseam and with my ridinf boots can still flat foot it at lights.

Howard sells several, which Ohlins model did you get?
