I just finished installing my Fuel Moto pkg. Sounds nice but since I had a few cold ones while installing it I will wait until the AM to test it out. I would like to replace my stock A/C cover with something small and round to just cover the cleaner. I love the Sands unit but not 350 worth of love. Anybody find any reasonably priced nice looking covers out there in the aftermarket world?

You can use an HD A/C insert also as just the cover. I used to do that when I ran an open cover.

 

I also have the Fuelmoto package and used the HD Nostalgic round cover. It was about $50. Here's a pic:

I'm looking to get rid of my football also, the rear part of it sticks right in my knee, very annoying.

I wouldn't mind getting a used one from somebody cheap and cutting off the rear portion making it round and maybe either leaving it chrome or powder coated.

 

I didn't like the football cover either and took another forum members idea by going to a local thrift shop, found a flat pot cover that fits, painted it flat black then scewed it on. Cost me 13.00 and looks good too.

 

Does S&S make a Super AC cover that will work with FI? Would look really great.

 

seen people retrofit the regular s&s one. I wanted small and round so I went with the maliair with devonator II breather mount, but sorry harley ,cheap and yet nice don't hardly work out.
