Shaved seat and street glide shocks

with a 29" inseam the only problem I have with mine is how wide the front of the seat is. It pushes my legs out and am constantly having to pull them in which makes the inner thigh really tired. my wife also has the problem of my hips being too wide this way and her legs get forced out. I have been toying between mustang and harley reach seat. A lot of people say mustang is the way to go for long haul but the reach seat seems about perfect from the pictures. It will sit me lower compared to the wife and her legs will feel better too. I just put on the "reach" bars and love those. leaning toward the harley seat but wondering about the long ride. how comfortable?
