I always have the shipper to not allow delivery without a signature. I've had alot of trouble with UPS. They are not allowed to drop off at my house unless they hand it to me. Otherwise, I dispute the charge with my credit card or Paypal. Most of my trouble is UPS delivering a smashed box with damaged product.

I sold a front bumper off of my Ultra on ebay last April. After a week and a half the guy emails me asking if I had shipped it yet. I had and asked him to give it to the end of that week. Still nothing. I checked with the P.O. and they said there was no indication of a problem. He said he didn't have a mailbox out on the road so I suggested that he check his post office, maybe it was there. He said he did check... so after about 3 weeks I refunded him his money. I was disappointed to have to give back almost 70 bucks but I can't expect him to pay for something he didn't get.
Beginning of March this year I get a package in the mail that is addressed in my handwriting...what the ??? I see a sticker that says something like "never picked up"...I open it and yep, it's my bumper from almost a year ago.

Default Same problem

Had the same problem with a Sony TV delivered by UPS. As I was pulling into my driveway, I see a Mexican, walking up my walkway, putting a box in the back of his pickup. I called the police and then started to follow him with the police on the phone. About 6 minutes later, a cruiser pulls up behind him and pulls him over. They proceed to arrest both the driver and passenger, and because they were both "illegals" they had their truck impunded, and I was told that since they had no insurance and registration, they would loose the truck. Got the TV back and they lost the truck and were given over to imigration after serving 6 months in jail for theft. Aint karma a bitch?

Several years ago when I had my 02 UC I ordered pipes and air cleaner from a HD dealer online after 2 weeks no show I call the dealer and tell them I havent recieved them .The call me back and tell me they were delivered after several more days the dealer sends out a second set of pipes and A/C which I recieve. About 3 weeks pass and I hear some noise by my front door at 9pm by the time I get to the door I see the UPS truck turning the corner like a bat out of hell when I opened the door there was the set of orignal pipes an A/C the dealer sent out..Morale of story dont believe anything UPS tells you..
