Could you spill out the beans where the great roads are besides The Dragon ?. I'd love to hear from the rest of you so I could plan out my trip with my friends in August for the first time.

Thanks,

Thorey

A few buddies and I did the Dragon two years ago, we were there in early April. Not to many riders on the road at all. I'd say there were probably 10 or 15 rice riders staying at that little motel at the one end of the Dragon.

I agree, way over rated, glad I did it and it was fun, but the ride there and back is what I really enjoyed. There are allot of other roads in and around that area that are even better than the Dragon in my opinion. Almost any road getting to or leaving from the Dragon is a blast to ride.

Stopped by Wheels through time on the way there excellent bike museum.

We stayed in Gatlinburg, nice town, was the first time being there for me, was early in the tourist season though, can't imagine what the town must be like when the season is in full swing.

I have to agree that it was fun once. I thought that getting there and getting home was just as much fun. Most of the roads in that area are very scenic and some as much fun to ride, but safer.

Sorry - I can't remember what it's called and when I told my daughter about it she said Cherry Cola Highway. I thought it was cute. Damn kids and their cuteness...
