The Dragon!

A few buddies and I did the Dragon two years ago, we were there in early April. Not to many riders on the road at all. I'd say there were probably 10 or 15 rice riders staying at that little motel at the one end of the Dragon.
I agree, way over rated, glad I did it and it was fun, but the ride there and back is what I really enjoyed. There are allot of other roads in and around that area that are even better than the Dragon in my opinion. Almost any road getting to or leaving from the Dragon is a blast to ride.
Stopped by Wheels through time on the way there excellent bike museum.
We stayed in Gatlinburg, nice town, was the first time being there for me, was early in the tourist season though, can't imagine what the town must be like when the season is in full swing.

Going the week before Memorial Day during the week. Hoping to hit it early and just enjoy the rest of the day(s) in the mountains and the Cherry Cola Highway.
Sorry - I can't remember what it's called and when I told my daughter about it she said Cherry Cola Highway. I thought it was cute. Damn kids and their cuteness...
