Default I wanna put my EZ-Pass inside my fairing.

Is there a particular spot that I should position it? What is involved in removing the batwing fairing? Thanx in advance.

do you have a tourpack on your scoot? I put mine in the lid with velcro strips.

Yes, I do. I tried installing it on the inside lid of my right saddlebag, but it did not work, and that was without having a passenger on whose leg would kinda block the signal if you follow me. I think a blocked signal would happen if I mounted it in the TP with a passenger on. I have a feeling that the EZ-Pass units are a low power, low signal unit.

The fairing has seven screws holding it on. Three across the bottom of the windshield, one on each side of the inner fairing, just below the hand grips, and the other two between the forks where the brake line splitter rests. You can wiggle it out from behind the passing lamps, and then unplug the headlight. There is plenty of room for a pass but I can't say the best spot for it.

Iam sure those ez pass transmitters are low powered, but I put mine inside my right side saddlebags lid, so far so good

I mounted my ezpass inside the fairing and have never had a problem. It's mounted in the center, above the radio. I use it almost every time I ride seeing as how you have to PAY to get out of The People's Republik of NJ [:'(]
