Default Whats the cleanest ipod/iphone connection

Hey,
I am looking at options for mounting an ipod nano or iphone to my scoot.

Option 1 - Plug it in and place it in the glove box (can not change songs)
Option 2 - Plug in and velcro device someplace on the bike
Option 3 - Use a remote ((ipod only) but its need an adaptor cable for the modual that plugs into the ipod nano
I figured I would get some good ideas here. I welcome any suggestions that makes the install really clean.

Thanks...............

Rayers, I think I found a solution for Option 1. Check out the Griffin Auto Pilot. I also have a Roadie and think this will work in the left glovebox. Walmart has them for $50.

Thanks DougM -
Do you find it awkward reaching down to the lighter in order to change tracks while your riding?

Anybody got experience with the Riders Claw iPod mount?

http://www.ridersclaw.com/

The more I look at it, the more I want it.

I have the riders claw on my bike..had it for about a month now and love it the only negative I've found is the bottom prong blocks the charging cord from going in...I have found that you can turn the iPod upside down and charge it on the go...or just charge it the night before other than that the set up is clean and the chrome is flawless I'd buy it again if I had to

I haven't tried the Auto Pilot yet. I just won one on eBay for $15 and thought I'd give it a try. With the use of playlists I don't think I'll be changing tracks that much but it's not much of a reach on a Roadie. I think it will work great and keep the iPod charged too.

Here's one for a 4th gen and 3rd gen Nano's that allows the power and patch cords to be hooked up at the same time. Lots more nice ones out there though

I have an 07 road glide
I am buying the ex-10 from alpine. this is an ipod controller, http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500EX10...10.html?tp=120
solution:
use and relocate the cig lighter inside the fairing or purchase an AUX from harley roughly $20.00
Mount the screen somehow on the fairing, not resovled yet, but it is all coming to me soon.
the fact is you would have a smaller 2.5 screen and see the album artwork, the ipod would recharge, and it would be hidden. you can also turnit off and on from the 2.5 screen. i may try to install on the fairing but it can be removed as well. so there are ways to store the ipod in the bags or get some glove box locks.
the beauty of it is you have volume from the factory controlls and can use the FM plug behind the fairing leaving a clean look.

I use a strip of velcro on the tank console. It's worked well for 10K miles.

Default Harman Kardon Drive and Play

Hard wired. Access to all Playlist, etc. Controller usable with gloves. Water resistant. Heavy rain - cover with a baggy. 10K without any issues.
