Here are some tips on diagnosing possible horn issues:
1. Horn volume is a variable and will be different between two motorcycles. Perceived low horn tone is not warrantable.
2. Water in the horn could also cause a low horn tone. It would be suggested to let the horn dry and re-verify function.
3. Verify wire routings, connections, proper ground, and voltage.
4. Check for binding horn mounts.
5. Proper torque on the horn fastener is also critical and should be verified.
