Default 2009 FLH Tires

I have a 2009 FLHR with 9,000 miles. I will need tires soon. Has anyone found a place on the Internet to buy these yet. Sizes are as follows:

Front Dunlop D407F 130/80H B17
Rear Dunlop D407 180/65H B16

Some of the sites I have checked don't even list the Dunlop D407 series. I know I can buy them from Harley for Mega Bucks.

I got the road hazard warranty on my tires. I am planning on picking up a nail in my tire at about 4/32 and let the dealer pay for it. Let me know what it cost to replace tires the warranty cost me 350$. I plan on picking up a nail in front and back tire.

I just had to replace the rear tire on my 09 Ultra. I picked up a nail, the legitimate way, last week. Best price I found was $187 and free shipping from Latus HD. The local dealer wanted $230 for the tire.

I don't think you can buy D407's any other place than an HD dealer. At least, that's what Dunlop's site says. Or maybe that's just the Harley branded Dunlops. Thta probably wasn't helpful at all. Sorry.

As Bluegrasser said, the tires are only available through HD for now at least. The other manufacturers will see an opportunity and will eventually start making alternatives. Once that happens, I'm sure Dunlop will start offering the now HD exclusive tires through other sources since they'll be loosing business to other manufacturers. It's just business...

I've been told by my local shop that Pirelli now makes a rear tire for the FLH's that he can order anyway. No front tire as yet.

Ur d 407 will soon be a d 408.. Get the 408.. Due to tire issues .. My 09 ug had a "coast down wobble" from day 1 nov 2008 when i picked the bike up.. Hd/dunlop is awaire of this issue. Hd says 407 has been replaced with a 408.. Im waiting for the dealer to get the 408 delivered then it'll be installed.. I had a slight handlebar shake (tankslap) on coast down from 30 mph to 23 mph...
