Had a problem with my cruise control and wanted to post to give a heads up. My check engine light would come on and whenever it did, I couldn't set the cruise control. When it went out the cruise worked fine. The code was PO577 (high cruise control input) The problem ended up being moisture in the handle bar switch. After finding some posts on other Forums, I decided to clean the switch and spray it down with electrical sealer. The problem has been gone now for over 1000 miles. I would guess this is more of a problem with 08' and later bikes because the others that had the same issue were 08's
