Default To FULLSAC or not to FULLSAC

I am at a crossroad trying to decide if I should go with True Duals or will Fullsac be enough. I spoke with Fuelmoto and the tech said that I would get the same results if I go with True Duals i.e. (Rush True duals) which they have and I am deciding on. My thoughts is, they are pretty honest to share this with me knowing they my loose a sell.
I already have:
1. Rush Slip Ons
2. PCIII
3. Arlen Ness Big Sucker

Ok Fullsac owners let me have it...

I have been dealing with the same issue, which is the best way to go. I just want the heat to go down to a level that is bearable. I will follow this post and see where it goes.

I recently bought a set of true dual headers and was debating the issue before I did. Here's the way I figure it - with the Fullsac all you get is some pipe for around $200. To cover that ugly gap in the front pipe with a full heat shield will cost around $100. So that's up to $300. I got the V&H True Duals from Dennis Kirk, which includes the heat shields and a completely new set of pipes all for a little over $300.

Vance & Hines Dresser Dual Header Pipes

Dennis Kirk Part #: 4401548
Manufacturer Part #: 16737

Your Price: $318.99

You will save a little with the Fullsac but you'll get a lot more when you buy the header package.

Just my .02 worth.

That's my big issue "fit and finish" I want it to look clean. Fuelmoto says they can sell me RUSH DUALS for about $360.00. That includes brand new heat shields and a map for my setup...

For the help with the map, sounds like a good deal. If you bought something different, you've have to buy heat shields and either download a mpa from somewhere or have someone load it.

And lots of people are happy with FuelMoto's customer support.

Not knocking Fullsac, at all here. Lots of people use their dual setup and are very happy.

I am running the Fullsac and to be honest no one has noticed the gap in the heat shields yet. I do like the look of one of the other brands I saw that follow the frame line a bit better. But I have so many other things to spend my bike money that I will be happy with what I have for a while.

Bought the fullsac, then decided to go with Rinehart true duals. I have no complaints about the fullsac system. It does exactly what it says it does and the price is resonable. Man I need to get mine out the box and put it up on the selling forum.

The chances are that if you go with the Fulsacs now, you will be bying the true duals later. Just my opinion.
