wish i had one of those. I've bought four helmets in the past year. hate them all. wife won't let me get another.

Man could that DOT sticker be any bigger???? Going to have to look into on of those helmets.....Does sticker come off??? Here in Illinois(S is silent) we dont have helmet regulations. Thanks R.W.

I have posted this before, but it bears repeating. I went to their plant last year after a phone call first. They changed the liner and put D rings on mine while I waited. No charge. What more could you ask? Great people.

BTW M3Breecer, there are dealers here and there where you can try one on. I initially bought mine in Pontiac MI.

Can the ear flaps be removed? I like them, never seen them on the ACC's before, but would like to be able to take them off.

No, they are not removable....I want them for wind protection, so for me their fine being on all the time.....

I've got the DOT polo helmet.This helmet rocks. On windy days though, it does try to pull up at highway speeds with the visor on the front. It's to be expected though. For the heck of it, I wore it backwards, and there was next to no wind resistance, and it still felt comfortable. And it gives your neck some relief from the sun. So you have the option...

In your OP, you said you bought a used polo. Is it just my eyes, the pics or what? But the new one looks like a standard 1/2 helmet, not the polo??
