Hard to imagine what they have up
their sleeves..........I guess only time
will tell. I'll start paying attention in another
8 to 10 years, as thats when I'll consider
trading for a new one. No reason these motors shouldn't
run strong and dependable for well over 100k miles, with
proper maintenance

There WON'T be a "FLTR"
that doesn't mean there won't be a Road Glide......stay tuned...... What the future holds for our FLTR remains to be seen, as they have always been "limited editions" they will remain popular with a "certain crowd".
Unless I win the lotto, I see no need to worry for a long while, but then I don't get a new bike every year either.
If we can't get 100-150 THOUSAND miles out of the bike....

Yup. definate watercooled (YAWN).
If you bought your bike as an investment.....you are ten years too late. Ride it, trade it, sell it and/or buy a new one.
5 years ago my house was worth 140,000.....now? maybe 70,000.
I don't worry about my next house. (someone still owns it or is building it.)
I live in the house and ride the bike I have.
