Do you own a Streetglide and do you like the change? Does the correction make the bike sit too upright?

Mucho Appreciato on the service bulletin. I just finished a custom build on an 09 Road Glide and the extreme lean on the jiffy stand makes me nervous to say the least. I will be requesting the new bracket tomorrow!! Many thanks again~

Default Does anyone have the original bracket from the swap to pass on?

I bought a set of HD Billet forward controls and the seller had taken the jiffy stand bracket off without my knowledge of it being there and now I cant find a replacement anywhere.
The part number is 5000-01, which I cant find anywhere, but was told the bracket you guys are all taking off to replace with the correct one, is actually the one I need.
Anyone?

Does the new bracket screw up the way the oil level reads on the dipstick? Would seem the new upright position raises the level but dunno if it's commensurate being upright?

http://www.hdforums.com/.../381575-s...d-bracket.html. Had it done on our 09 EGS's. Best thing ever did as far as lean. The things used to lean so bad sometimes we had a hernia getting them off the stand when they were all loaded down ready to tour. Our dealership didn't know about them but when I got the service bulletin, they got the part in next day and did 'em both. Ours is Seminole HD in Sanford FL. They are probably one of finest in the country. They constantly take care of us no matter what we need. Exceptional to say the least!
