V&H TRue Duals

Noticed the much cooler right side immediately after I had mine installed a few weeks ago. All related to the removal of that danged down-pipe on the right side. Was about to buy some RJ's before the TD's, but don't really need 'em anymore (other than they look really cool =). Also noticed a HUGE sound improvement (true/full balanced stereo sound from each pipe behind me vs "almost stereo" of the stock headpipes).
Getting the bike dyno'd this month, so may see a minior improvement in performance. Even if I don't though, it was definitely a mod that I won't regret. The two benefits I listed above were worth the minor expense.
BTW...diggin' where you're going with the contrasting black accents against the silver motor.

Hows bottom end with the true duals? A friend of mine has rinehart true duals with the screamin eagle race tuner and air cleaner, had the dealer tune it and his bike is slow as hell. Has no low end power, we all blow him away going up the mountains. Id like to do a true dual setup, but after seeing how slow his bike is i really dont want to lose power. Also he gets horrible gas mileage. We will both fill up at the same time and hes on empty while im at just under a half tank. Both bikes are 08 dresssers.

Put a set of V&H Duals on mine last week because of a cracked Y pipe. I kept the Supertrapp SEs on there & it sounds nice. Definately less heat on the right thigh.
I have dyno tuned several mild built bikes with Rineharts & each were kinda weak in the lower RPMs. A few more experienced tuners told me it was because of the larger pipe ID and that HDs need back pressure for torque. Im sure its not the case for all with Rineharts, but it was with the ones I worked on.

I am running Supertrapp SE mufflers and just bought a pair of V&H Duals. They are in the mail right now.
Just wondering if you noticed any performance change with going from stock head pipes to the duals?
