Question LED's for Turn & Brake Signals

I have an '08 FLHTCUSE and am considering upgrading to LED lighting for the turn and brake signals. Does anyone know:

A). Is it possible without extensive mods to electrical system?
B). Did it lower the power consumption?

Extensive mods to the system , no.
Most items are plug and play by design.
The brake light setups will generally decrease power consumption.
The run/brake/directional setups have to adjust the consumption to match the stock setup.
If you want run/brake/directional function of the directional lights , a neat way to go is the
Badlands illuminator , which just plugs in and gives you the needed resistance for the TSSM setup , and you're all done.
Then you can add more leds and it will adjust the circuits for you.
Some have been able to just run a brake light and rear directionals (led) without further mods , but a device like the illuminator makes the rest of the add-ons easy.
Most of the quality leds nowadays are very well designed and easy to install.

Check out Custom Dynamics web site. They have a tech line as well and are very helpful.

Badlands illuminator the only way to go. you can even hook up your tour pack for turn signals.

I added LED's. Brake, Turn, Running all in one fixture. Also added Kury's LED curved license plate holder. I then bought a 5 wire to 4 wire tail light converter from Auto Zone for $12. Every thing works fine.

Badlands Illuminator and Radiantz L.E.D.'s are the best setup on the market. Screw Kuryakyn.

The shrink and others are absolutely correct.

I just installed the Badlands Illuminator and the Radiantz Led plug in kits for the turn signals. The illiminator is direct plug and play. No heat also. The only problem I had was the Led Drugz for the front did not want to work with my set up. I am swapping them out for the oher LED kit for the front. Rick at Badlands is great to work with and their customer service and price was great. Discounted when I bought the complete kit.
The Radiantz LED turnsignals are bright as hell !!

Looked at the kury ..... No thanks I did not like the fact that you need to buy this that and another to work. I also did not want the equalizer to get hot.

I've had Kury's on since 2005. Not an issue, ever. Don't know about the other brands as I've not had experience with them. What ever brand you choose is your choice but one thing is for sure, people see the LED's. They are bright lights. Chek 'em all out and see what is easiest, cheapest, bestest.

Good luck...
