Default Changing the bars on the ultra

i have the HD chrome and rubber grips now and i want to put them on the new bars, what is the best way to take these off without damaging them? is their a inner and outer shell on these or are they one piece? Thanks

They are one piece. Left one is held on by the switch housing, so there is no glue to deal with. Right one is also held in place by the switch housing.
