Default Mustang Smooth Ultra Touring Seat #75449 on an 05 Ultra???

I am contemplating buying one of these since my a$$ gets sore after 3 hours on the stock seat.

#75449 - Smooth Ultra Touring Front Width - 17" Rear Width - 16" NO STUDS.

The seat dimensions are essentially identical to stock.

BUT does this seat move you forward, back, up or down on an 05 Ultra compared to the MOCO seat??? Can't try till you buy [&o]

Appreciate any insight.

Default RE: Mustang Regal Ultra Touring Seat #75537 on an 05 Ultra???

I have the same seat except it the plain ultra touring, no buttons, no studs. I personally don't like it moves me too far forward
feel like I'm sitting on the gas tank, and too far up. I can still get both feet on the ground but just barely.
Most others seem to like them, but I'm putting my stock seat back on. Will probably be selling the mustang.

I have the #75449 one piece Ultra on mine. I like it. It moved me slightly back and maybe just a tad up. Did not create a problem, however. If I had my preference, I'd like the bars back toward me about an inch.

Love mine....700 plus mile day last summer and no way I could have done that with the stock seat. I could barely do 50 before my back was killing me. Had the same seat on my 96 and did 1062 in 1 day.

I changed to this seat w/ drivers back rest within months of purchasing my bike. I had a Mustang on my previous bike and I wouldn't live without them. I'm 5'8" and had the bike lowered at purchase. I found the Mustang to move me back an 1" or 2" which is what I wanted but it also raised me up about an 1" . I wish it wouldn't have raised me but I'm willing to put up with not being totally flat footed for the much improved comfort to my tailbone. With my movement back, I put the reduced reach handlebars on and I couldn't be happier.

I have the pillow mustang 2-up on a Road King...Moved me up a good bit, but wifey liked her part better than the Corbin. When I added the Mustang Driver backrest, it made all of the difference in the world, like a different bike. I am glad I made the switch from the Corbin now...My curent set-up is AWESOME as far as comfort goes. The initial feel of the Mustang seat was like it was set up to not be nearly as comfortable without the driver backrest. Kinda felt like my nuts were sittin' on the speedometer until I got the backrest. However, I am a rather large fella (6'2", 320) and an inch or slightly different angle here or there makes a huge difference in my comfort.

No experience with that model, but I strongly suggest the rider back rest. Man, what a difference it made for me.
