Absolutely no chance of a problem. The MU85B16 has an overall width of 5.51" vs 5.57" for the MU90B16. That's just 6/100th of an inch difference between the two.

I had my Elite 3's installed today. MAN - just 60 or so miles since the install and I can really tell the difference. Very pleased and would recommend them.

I don't know of anyone using radials on a Harley.

Dunlop don't make a bias-ply E3 for your '09.... you're probably best off with the 407's anyway....

E3s on an '07 RK... I echo others on cracks/grooves in concrete (almost undetectable) but I also noticed that with E3s, crossing the steel-grating draw-bridges around here is a lot less intrusive. I can certainly still detect a (now mild) disruption and need to pay attention but there's WAY less self-steering effect than there was with those OEM Dunflops.

My 2007 Fat Boy came from the factory with Dunlop radial tires. I believe V-Rods come with radials also.

Default E3's

Just had E3's put on my 2001 Ultra after reading lots of positive reviews - all I can say is wow, what a difference! Cornering, ride comfort, and stability on varied pavement all noticeably improved! Great price from D. Kirk ($211 for both, shipped) too. Thanks for all the posts on these tires!

If you have an Indy in your area it is almost worth the $40 to have him do it all. The muflers can be a pain ( lots of WD40). By the time I take it off and drive to a place to mount it, etc. and put everything back on he can do two. Else check your HD dealer and see if they will even do the E 3 since they sometimes only go by the book.

Ordered myself a 160 E3 for my 07 streetglide. ordered it from Jakewilson.com good price free shipping. If the shipping is quick I will be very happy and a repeat customer.

From what i can see reading up on the Bias ply VS. Radial... is you can mix it on a bike ...the problem with mixing them is if they are on the same axle..IE: trailer or on a car...Said that on a bike there wouldn't be much issues...I am putting one as soon as the Michelin is worn out....Only issue i have heard about was them cupping a bit???? i will have to try for myself....

Sometime this summer, I'll need to replace my original Dunlop/HD tires on my 07 RG. From what I've been reading, the Elite 3 are the answer. When I go to the fitment Guide on the Dunlop site, all I get are 4 versions of the 402's. Is the Elite not a proper fit to the 07 RG ?? If not..what size would I get? Also, if there are any Canadians reading this with elites, where did you buy them ?? Thanks
